Community Guidelines

Version 1.1 · Effective Date: October 27, 2026 · Last Updated: October 27, 2026

1. Purpose of the Community Guidelines

JobZor is designed to help people discover and connect with businesses and service providers in a safe, honest, and trustworthy environment. These Community Guidelines explain the standards that apply when using JobZor, including business listings, Showcase, Portfolio, reviews, comments, Messages, and other Platform features.

Everyone using JobZor is expected to follow these Guidelines, the JobZor Terms of Service, and applicable law. Content or conduct that violates these rules may be removed or restricted, and serious or repeated violations may result in account or business suspension or termination.

2. Be Honest and Authentic

Be truthful about who you are and what you offer. Do not impersonate others, create deceptive accounts or listings, misrepresent qualifications, or intentionally provide false or misleading information.

Fake businesses, unauthorized impersonation, false contact or location information, nonexistent services, false claims about licenses, certifications or insurance, deceptive use of another business's identity or media, duplicate listings created to manipulate visibility, and fake ratings or reviews are prohibited.

JobZor may distinguish an honest mistake from intentional deception and may allow reasonable corrections where appropriate.

3. Respect Other Users

Treat other members of the JobZor community with respect. Harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, unlawful hateful conduct, doxxing, coordinated harassment, and repeated unwanted contact are not permitted.

Blocking must not be evaded by creating or using another account to continue unwanted contact.

Honest criticism and genuine negative reviews are allowed when they comply with these Guidelines. A review is not removable merely because a business dislikes or disagrees with it.

4. Business Listings and Services

Business listings must accurately represent the business and the services it actually offers. Businesses should keep their name, contact information, address or service area, hours, availability, services, and prices reasonably accurate.

Do not create deceptive, unauthorized, duplicate, or misleading listings or misrepresent prices, qualifications, licenses, insurance, availability, or services.

A listing on JobZor does not by itself mean that JobZor endorses, licenses, certifies, guarantees, or has independently verified the business. If JobZor later offers a specific verification status, the meaning of that status will be explained separately.

5. Showcase, Portfolio and Other Content

Only post content that you own or have permission to use, and make sure it honestly represents your business, work, or experience.

Do not post deceptive before-and-after results, another business's work as your own, content that infringes intellectual-property rights, pornography or sexually explicit material, gambling or casino promotion, illegal drug or narcotics promotion, alcohol promotion prohibited by JobZor policy, scams, malicious content, unlawful threats, or other prohibited material.

Do not publicly expose another person's private documents or sensitive personal information without authorization. JobZor may remove or restrict content that violates these rules.

6. Reviews, Ratings and Comments

Reviews and ratings should reflect genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Fake reviews, self-reviews through deceptive accounts, artificial five-star campaigns, coordinated attacks on competitors, intentionally deceptive reviews, rating manipulation, harassment, spam, and unlawful disclosure of private information are prohibited.

A business may respond respectfully to criticism but may not threaten or improperly pressure a customer to remove or change a review. JobZor does not remove a review simply because it is negative.

7. Messages and Communications

Use JobZor Messages for legitimate communication. Spam, scams, phishing, threats, harassment, repeated unwanted messages, prohibited transactions, malicious links, malware, and attempts to obtain sensitive information through deception are not allowed.

Messages may not be used to promote pornography or sexual services, gambling or casino activity, illegal narcotics or drugs, or alcohol activity prohibited by JobZor policy.

Communications within JobZor do not make JobZor a party to an agreement between users and businesses. Whether communications create obligations between the participants depends on applicable law and the participants' own conduct.

8. Prohibited Businesses, Products and Services

JobZor may not be used to advertise, offer, facilitate, or promote prohibited or unlawful businesses, products, or services.

Prohibited categories include gambling, casinos, betting or wagering; pornography, sexually explicit content or sexual services; illegal narcotics, recreational drugs and unlawful controlled substances; alcohol sales, alcohol business listings or alcohol promotion prohibited by JobZor policy; stolen or unlawfully obtained goods; human trafficking or exploitation; fraudulent schemes and phishing; fake IDs, licenses, certificates or other forged documents; and other products or services prohibited by applicable law or JobZor policy.

Attempting to disguise prohibited activity under another category, description, listing, or service is also prohibited.

9. Fraud, Payments and Documents

Do not use JobZor to commit or facilitate fraud. False payment information, deceptive deposits, forged or altered documents, fake licenses or insurance, unauthorized payment activity, and intentional financial deception are prohibited.

Users and businesses may not request advance payment for services they do not intend to provide, fabricate invoices or payment confirmations, misuse another person's payment information, or falsely claim authority over property or services.

A payment or refund disagreement does not automatically establish fraud. JobZor may review whether Platform rules were violated but does not guarantee or adjudicate every transaction between users and businesses.

10. Privacy and Personal Information

Respect other people's privacy. Do not expose, misuse, sell, threaten to expose, or distribute another person's private or sensitive information without authorization or lawful justification.

Prohibited conduct includes doxxing, credential theft, phishing, misuse of passwords or verification codes, and unauthorized publication of private addresses, personal contact details, financial information, identification documents, or other sensitive information.

Information that a business intentionally publishes as public business contact information is not treated as private merely because it appears on JobZor.

11. Reporting and Enforcement

Users may report business listings, Showcase or Portfolio content, reviews, comments, messages, or accounts that they believe violate JobZor rules.

Reports do not automatically result in penalties. JobZor may review relevant information and take action based on the nature, severity, context, and history of a violation.

Actions may include no action, a warning, content removal or reduced visibility, temporary feature restrictions, business listing suspension, account suspension, or permanent termination. Serious violations may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination without prior warning where appropriate.

Abuse of the reporting system, including knowingly false or coordinated reports intended to target another user or business, is prohibited.

12. Appeals and Updates

Where appropriate, users may request review of certain moderation decisions. An appeal does not automatically reverse a decision. JobZor may uphold, modify, or reverse the original action after reviewing the available information.

Restrictions may remain in effect during an appeal where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, security, or legal compliance.

We may update these Community Guidelines as JobZor evolves, new risks emerge, or legal requirements change. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or another appropriate method.
