Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using JobZor, you agree to these Terms of Service and policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
A standard account requires age 14 or the higher minimum age required where the user lives. Users self-confirm eligibility and are responsible for the truthfulness of that confirmation. A user must be at least 18 to create or manage a business listing.
3. Account Registration
Users must provide reasonably accurate account information, maintain control of their credentials, and promptly update information that materially affects use of the Platform.
4. Account Security
Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials and for activity under their account, subject to applicable law. Suspected unauthorized access should be reported promptly.
5. User Accounts and Business Listings
A standard account may use eligible consumer features. Business listings are separate Platform features and may be subject to additional eligibility, verification, subscription, and content requirements.
6. Business Owner Responsibility
A person creating or managing a business listing represents that they are authorized to do so and are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the listing and offered services.
7. Business Information
Business names, descriptions, contact information, service areas, hours, availability, services, prices, media, and other listing information must not be intentionally false or misleading.
8. Licenses, Permits and Insurance
Businesses are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining licenses, permits, registrations, certifications, insurance, and other legal requirements applicable to their work. JobZor does not grant professional authorization.
9. JobZor Is a Discovery Platform
JobZor helps users discover and communicate with businesses and service providers. Unless expressly stated for a specific service, JobZor is not the employer, contractor, agent, partner, broker, or representative of users or listed businesses.
10. No Endorsement or Guarantee
A listing, rating, review, verification indicator, search position, or presence on JobZor does not by itself constitute a guarantee or endorsement of quality, safety, legality, licensing, pricing, availability, or suitability.
11. User-Business Relationships
Users and businesses are responsible for evaluating one another and deciding whether to transact. JobZor is not responsible for independently verifying every representation made by a user or business.
12. Messages and Communications
JobZor may provide messaging tools for users and businesses. Messages must comply with these Terms and Community Guidelines. JobZor may review relevant communications when reasonably necessary for reports, safety, fraud, support, enforcement, security, or legal compliance.
13. No Contractual Authority of JobZor Messages
JobZor does not declare or guarantee that messages exchanged inside JobZor create a contract, and JobZor is not a party to any contract that may arise between users and businesses. The legal effect of communications is determined by applicable law and the parties' conduct.
14. Appointments and Requests
Appointment and request tools facilitate communication and scheduling. Unless expressly stated otherwise, JobZor does not guarantee that a business will accept, perform, complete, or be available for a requested service.
15. Payments Between Users and Businesses
Unless JobZor expressly provides a payment service for a transaction, payment arrangements between users and businesses are their responsibility. JobZor does not guarantee deposits, refunds, workmanship, delivery, or payment performance.
16. Subscriptions and Paid Business Features
JobZor may offer monthly, annual, promoted, or other paid business features. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and included features will be disclosed at purchase as required.
17. Cancellation, Closure and Remaining Subscription Time
Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, closing or pausing a business does not automatically entitle the business to a prorated refund for unused prepaid time. If JobZor permits reactivation, remaining prepaid subscription time may be preserved according to the applicable subscription rules rather than restarted or extended solely because the business was inactive.
18. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the purchase terms presented for the paid feature, applicable law, and where relevant the rules of the payment or app-store provider. JobZor may provide discretionary refunds without creating an obligation to do so in other cases.
19. Public Content and User Content
Users retain applicable rights in content they submit but grant JobZor the permissions reasonably necessary to host, process, display, distribute, format, and operate that content through the Platform, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
20. Reviews, Ratings and Comments
Reviews and ratings should reflect genuine experiences and honest opinions. Fake reviews, manipulation, harassment, coordinated attacks, and other conduct prohibited by the Community Guidelines are not allowed.
21. Showcase and Portfolio
Showcase, Portfolio, and similar media features may be public. Users and businesses are responsible for having rights and permissions to upload their media and for ensuring it complies with law and JobZor policies.
22. Prohibited Content and Conduct
Users may not use JobZor for fraud, scams, phishing, harassment, threats, unlawful activity, impersonation, malicious software, rights infringement, privacy abuse, or other prohibited conduct described in the Community Guidelines.
23. Prohibited Businesses and Services
JobZor prohibits categories designated in its Community Guidelines, including gambling/casino/betting, pornography or sexual services, illegal narcotics or unlawful controlled substances, alcohol sales/listings/promotion prohibited by JobZor policy, fraudulent schemes, forged documents, trafficking/exploitation, stolen goods, and other unlawful or prohibited services.
24. Intellectual Property
Users may not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property rights. JobZor's own branding, software, designs, and proprietary materials remain protected by applicable law.
25. Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by the JobZor Privacy Policy. Users must also respect the privacy and personal information of other people when using the Platform.
26. Location and Device Permissions
Certain features may require location, camera, photos/media, notifications, microphone, or other device permissions. Users may decline permissions, although related features may be limited.
27. Third-Party Services and Links
JobZor may link to independent websites, apps, social networks, maps, payment providers, or other services. Once a user leaves JobZor and accesses a third-party service, that third-party service's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to the user's use of that service.
28. Reports, Moderation and Enforcement
JobZor may investigate reports and policy violations and may warn users, remove or restrict content, limit features, suspend listings or accounts, or terminate access based on severity, context, history, safety, fraud, or legal considerations. Reports do not automatically establish a violation.
29. Appeals
Where JobZor provides an appeal process, eligible users may request review of certain moderation decisions. An appeal does not automatically reverse the original decision.
30. Account Suspension and Termination
JobZor may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts or business listings for serious or repeated violations, fraud, safety risks, legal requirements, abuse, or other legitimate enforcement reasons. Serious matters may result in action without prior warning where appropriate.
31. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account through available controls. Deletion may remove or deactivate associated listings and de-identify certain account information. Some records, messages, reviews, comments, security data, legal records, or backups may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
32. Service Availability and Changes
JobZor may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. The Platform may experience interruptions, errors, maintenance, or outages, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
33. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobZor is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties that are not expressly stated. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
34. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobZor and its applicable affiliates are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of the Platform or independent user-business transactions, subject to rights and liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
35. Changes, Governing Terms and Severability
JobZor may update these Terms as the Platform or law changes and will provide notice where required. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted. These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or waived.
